JAYE CONNOLLY LABELLE, CHAIRMAN, and CHAIRMAN & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, RIPPLENAMI, INC. | Ms. Connolly-LaBelle serves as chairman and chief executive officer of RippleNami, Inc., a global company working to create data traceability and transparency throughout Africa.  Ms. Connolly-LaBelle brings more than thirty-five (35) years of leadership experience to her role, which she garnered from her various professional roles in finance, technology, audit, compliance, business development, strategy, mergers, and acquisitions areas.  

Ms. Connolly-LaBelle has served in key C-level roles at both private and publicly traded corporations. In her leadership role with RippleNami, she is responsible for developing and executing the Company’s long-term strategy to create a difference for the mid-income population. 

Ms. Connolly-LaBelle experience lies in leading publicly traded as well as privately held companies and start­ups. Her public company experience spans key roles at six publicly traded corporations in the oil and gas, mining, healthcare, and technology sectors. She led eighteen (18) accretive acquisitions throughout her career, adding over USD 2 billion to revenue. Ms. Connolly-LaBelle also possesses significant Initial Public Offering (I.P.O.) experience.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting with minors in computer science, oil, and gas from Texas Tech University. 

FARUK AWADH, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS (AFRICA) | Born and bred in Uganda’s heart, Mr. Awadh is a telecommunication and management expert with more than two decades of professional work experience in East & Central Africa, Middle East, Europe and U.S.A. With a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering specialisation in Telecommunications and electronics from Sana’a University (Yemen), Mr. Awadh brings excellent management, communication, negotiation, and consultation skills RippleNami. 

Previous experience includes working with NIEL Telecom S.A (Luxemburg), Hits Telecom (Uganda, Burundi), ORANGE Uganda and Unitel (Kuwait, Oman, K.S.A., U.A.E.) & Huawei Technologies MENA Region.

Mr. Awadh is skilled in Project Management, Strategic Planning, and Product Management, among others. A quick thinker with the ability to solve complex problems, he is the perfect fit to head the Ugandan office as it embarks on key defining projects.

HUSSEIN SEKINALYA, RELATION MANAGER | An avid football fan and reader, Mr. Sekinalya is a logistics and administrative expert. He possesses excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and communication, customer care, organisational, accounting and research skills. 

Before working with RippleNami Uganda, Mr. Sekinalya worked with Kitti Agencies as the Head of Projects, Orange Uganda Limited as the Logistics Officer – Customs Clearance, Tamoil East Africa Limited as the Operations & Commercial Coordinator, Uganda Revenue Authority as a Revenue Officer, and Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) as a Personnel Officer. Throughout his career he has liaised closely with Uganda’s Ministers, Departments and Agencies as part of his official capacity, maintaining healthy relationships at all levels that continue to this day in his position as Relation Manager with RippleNami Uganda. 

Mr. Sekinalya holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from Uganda Management Institute and a Bachelor’s in Political Science & Public Administration from Makerere University.
